History of Queer Witches

Join us for an evening with Krysta Venora (they/them), an Afro-Indigenous, trans, Non-Binary Queer, psychic witch, and medicine person to discuss both the history of queer witches and their own experiences. They will touch on the purpose and value of queer witches today as well as what it means to be a queer witch. They will touch on indigenous perspectives, historical mistreatment and erasure, as well as the inherent magic of queer people at large. Their presentation will end with speaking on how to find your individual power as a queer person within and without the label "witch." The rest of the event will be lead by student programming assistants who will discuss the general history of queer witches and witchcraft.
