Stephanie Besch

As Program Coordinator at the NRC, Steph is the local site coordinator for the Safe Babies Court Team in Polk County, Iowa, a demonstration site for the Infant and Toddler Court Team program of Zero to Three funded by the Health Resources Services Administration. Ms. Besch also coordinates training, technical assistance, evaluation, and research for the Life Skills Progression (LSP) National Center where she works with programs throughout the U.S. that use the LSP and contributes to other NRC projects conducting interviews, analyzing data, writing reports, and presenting to various audiences. Before joining the NRC Steph was a social worker at the Iowa Department of Human Services in child protection and treatment, served as an Infant and Toddler Specialist at Drake University Head Start; and was an early childhood teacher at The House of Mercy residential treatment program. Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Child, Adult and Family Services from Iowa State University.
