University of Iowa School of Social Work Professor and Director Mercedes Bern-Klug, PhD, has been announced as a 2022 Fellow in the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare (AASWSW). The honor recognizes the depth of Dr. Bern-Klug's leadership in research and practice, advancement of equity, and commitment to social good. She joins 15 other outstanding scholars being inducted into a fellowship of thought leaders working to address the large questions facing our nation and the world. The virtual induction ceremony will occur on January 19, 2022.
