Chabli Hodge, LCSW-PIP
Chabli is a clinical social worker, educator, and advocate. As the Director of Field Education for the undergraduate social work program at the University of South Dakota, she is dedicated to preparing future social workers for ethical, culturally responsive practice. As a PhD student in social work at the University of Iowa, with a concentration in public health, her research focuses on anti-racist teaching practices in social work education and mental health disparities affecting African American communities.
Licensed in South Dakota and Florida, Chabli has applied her expertise across diverse practice settings, including private practice, addiction treatment facilities, school-based mental health, non-profit organizations, and program development. Her work focuses on improving mental health access for underserved communities and strengthening social work education to better serve historically minority populations.
Outside of her professional roles, Chabli enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two children. She is committed to bridging research and practice in social work and mental health.
