Saige Addison, BASW, MSW
Saige M. Addison, MSW (she/her) is a PhD student at the University of Iowa’s School of Social Work. Her research centers on the management of human service organizations, with particular interest in how internal systems—like human resources and performance management—and external factors—such as funding structures and policy environments—shape staff experiences and service delivery.
Saige has experience conducting qualitative interviews, analyzing data, and contributing to collaborative research projects across a range of topics, including workplace culture in HSOs, library-social work partnerships, and program evaluation. She is also exploring how artificial intelligence and machine learning can be applied to social work research, including their potential for improving systematic reviews and understanding research trends through citation network analysis.
Saige’s work aims to bridge organizational research and social work values, especially in mission-driven and resource-constrained settings.
