We will be visiting the following organizations:

  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City: Empowers youth to reach their full potential by creating one-to-one mentoring relationships with caring adult mentors.
  • Community LINC: The largest single-site provider of homeless services in the metro area, offering housing, support services, and coordinated placements to help end homelessness.
  • Uncover KC: Connects people and organizations through volunteerism, service learning, and community engagement to create lasting social impact.
  • Mid-America Regional Council: A nonprofit association of local governments that promotes regional cooperation and develops innovative solutions to improve the quality of life in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
  • HALO Foundation: Provides housing, healing, and education to homeless and at-risk youth, helping them envision and create a positive future.

NOTE: There is a $60 fee to attend this trek to help with transportation, lodging, and meal costs.
