School of Social Work Professor Sara Sanders, MSW, Ph.D, has been named Interim Dean in the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS).

Sanders, who has been on our faculty since 2003, served as Director of the School of Social Work from 2015 to January 2020, when she was appointed Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives for the College, as well as the CLAS Director of Diversity.
