Biography

Taylor Ford has a decade of experience providing concrete clinical social work services to clients struggling with a variety of mental health and substance use disorders. She has served in various settings and levels of care including outpatient, partial hospital, residential, psychiatric observation/emergency, acute inpatient, K-12 schools, and higher education institutions. Taylor is a Diplomate and Certified Cognitive Therapist through the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. She has provided clinical leadership and program development/implementation in various settings, leading teams through the process of designing and launching new clinics and clinical services. Taylor has been an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Iowa School of Social Work since 2017. She is passionate about teaching/education and increasing access to care for individuals, groups, and families needing mental health and substance use support.
