Why consider the Sioux City MSW?

  • Benefit from a structured part-time course plan that fits your current work and lifestyle
  • Small class sizes mean you’ll have more attention and support
  • No GRE requirement
  • Evening classes typically meet once per week
  • Learn from experienced practitioners actively working in the community
  • Save money, all students pay in-state tuition (currently $625/credit)

Students register for an average of two courses each semester, including summers, and complete the degree in three years.

Students from diverse academic and experiential backgrounds are valued and actively recruited by the program. Previous experiences in human services and cross-cultural perspectives are desirable.

Courses for regular-standing students (those who have completed a degree in a discipline other than a CSWE-accredited social work degree program) began in the summer of 2023. The next cohort for regular-standing students begins in Summer of 2026.

Coursework for Advanced Standing students (those who have completed the BA in Social Work or BSW from a CSWE-accredited social work degree program) begins in the summer of 2024.
