All required classes in the online MSW program meet in the evening, Monday through Thursday, starting no earlier than 5:30 p.m. CST, via Zoom.
Students admitted to the online program must reside in one of the following states: Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wisconsin.

Format
All required classes in the online MSW program meet in the evening only, Monday through Thursday, starting no earlier than 5:30 p.m. CST, via Zoom.
To qualify for the online MSW, students must:
- Live in Iowa or bordering states
- Have either a BSW or a 4-year degree in another discipline
- Attend evening classes in real-time using video conferencing and asynchronous classes where work is done independently, adhering to deadlines
- Work with the Online MSW Practicum Administrator to develop and secure practicum (internship) placement(s) in their community
Online education will require high-speed internet and a computer equipped with a web camera and headset/microphone, plus good time management and basic technical skills for navigating the internet and downloading and uploading documents.
