Iowa's center for intellectuals, artists, scientists, philosophers, and activists is the central campus for the University of Iowa, in Iowa City.

This comfortable, friendly, and thriving college town has been named to many "Best Of" lists as a great place to live, study, work, do business, and retire. 

The Iowa City location provides the undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Minor in Social Work, and the graduate Master of Social Work and Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work degrees, as well as three certificate programs. Students are admitted annually to this program.

Social work courses are taught in classrooms at North Hall on the Iowa City campus. Other requirements are offered online or through a combination of classroom and online methods.
