The School-to-Prison Pipeline and Social Work

Schools and juvenile court systems within the United States were not intended to work together, but they have now developed an unfortunate partnership that is commonly known as the school-to-prison-pipeline.

Iowa Aging Summit presentations now available on YouTube

the University of Iowa School of Social Work has released to the public the presentation videos from the Iowa Aging Summit, which took place September 17-18, 2020, online. The Iowa Aging Summit drew inspiration from one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: “Quality Education to transform our world”—and focused on exchanging information and ideas related to enriching the experience of older adulthood through education across the lifespan.

Amiya Jones: Athlete, Advocate, Explorer
